Marlene Dietrich Inspiration ? Art Postcard
Some time ago I came across this card and although I found on such indication in the auction description, I thought about Marlene Dietrich because of the striking resemblance (hairdo, posh attire, shapely legs ;) ....I purchased it as a curiosity and put into the album just with other Marlene-inspired cards..... . I do not know whether or not the autor did it on purpose but I let myself belive so ....besides it's very charming postcard.....

Marlene Dietrich singing - Mutter, Hast Du Mir Vergeben
A piece of wonderful performance by Marlene ;) she sings her own text to the Polish music by Czeslaw Niemen. To be frank, I prefer the song this way - Marlene is a sorceress - she cast a sepell on anything she did and made a pice of good job of that.

Rare photo of Marlene sold on ebay
3.
Sold on ebya for British Ł 5 !!! Incredible . Looks like a fabulous bargain as long as the card was genuinely signed ;) as for me I would give credit to that. Even the Ross Verlag postcard alone could go for USD 10 - USD 20. I even saw one not signed but in perfect condition sold for EUR 40 - but it was on ebay ca. 2 years ago. Now, during the crisis buyers are just mor cautious spending their pennies. ABSOLUTELY GREAT BARGAIN FOR ME ; )
4.
page from a collector's book - well known mixture of simple book page with autograph + press photo stuck on it

Poems By Marlene Dietrich
**********KOMM DOCH MAL HER**********
ICH bitt´ Dich so sehr!
Komm doch mal her
Und spiel´ mit mir
Wenn du magst!
Ich verlang´ keinen Ernst
Keine dauernde Liebe.
Auch nicht, dass es immer so bliebe.
Und geh´ dann wenn Du´s sagst.
Sieh her die Rosen in meinem Schoß.
Sie sind so rot zum Küssen.
Und alle gebe ich davon Dir
Auch wenn Sie sterben müssen.
Komm´ doch und spiel mit mir!!!

**********TO RONALD REAGAN ************
A tense silence
Grips me Surrounds me
Grounds me to the
Messy floor Around me
No voice No wind No rain Just silence will remain
Around me What a fate
«Too late cried the Raven, Too late»
******* TO ORSON WELLES ********
EVEN when you are dead
You are not safe
Not out of reach.
******* TO ERNEST HEMINGWAY *******
LOSING you
Feels like A fisherman feels
Who loses his catch He thought he had
So securely
Hooked
While piercing
The gills of his prey
******* TO NOEL COWARD *******
NO more Body
To hold on to
While you Sleep
Just the Sheet. What a cheat!

How you got away
With this sordid
Morbid bit.

Clippings from Deutsche Zeitungen about Marlene Dietrich
Press finds & clippings of Marlene Dietrich cut-outs, Berichte , Artikel Zeitung

Marlene Dietrich Geburtstaghaus birth house casa di nascita Lebersrasse 65 - Schoeneberg
Martedi, 10 giugno 2008
Mi viene in mente una belissima canzone di Marlene - Das war in Schoeneberg, im Monat Mai....

Marlene Dietrich and her Voice citation by Ernest Hemingway
“If she had nothing more than her voice she could break your heart with it. But she has that beautiful body and the timeless lovliness of her face. It makes no difference how she breaks your heart if she is there to mend it.”
