Marlene Dietrich Nino Za Caricature Italy Milano Postcard Cartolina Vintage Postkarte

Beautiful postcard by Nino Za, the very last arrival which landed directly into my heavy album; sultry actress appears to be a fusion of her past ( Lola Lola) , her present (ultra modern, ravishing and seductive look, and her future.... . The artist captured the flagship face of Marlene's and added the absolute must-prop which is a cigarette of course ;) ...

Marlene Dietrich kissing test 1941 vintage photo psychometer

1941, Psychology student undergoes a scientific emotional reaction test; boy and his lucky moment in Marlene's passionate arms ......

Screen Vamp makes his heart beat faster
Hollywood, California.- Robert Moore, 23-year-old psychology student at San Francisco State College whose reaction to the prospect of kissing film star Marlene Dietrich was the coldest among a group of students at the college and who was therefore chosen to cooperate with the star in an emotional reaction test using a psychometer, is shown during his lucky moment. His heart beat increase considerably as a result. The psychometer measures the amount of moisture in the palm of the hand.

Marlene Dietrich singing - Mutter, Hast Du Mir Vergeben

A piece of wonderful performance by Marlene ;) she sings her own text to the Polish music by Czeslaw Niemen. To be frank, I prefer the song this way - Marlene is a sorceress - she cast a sepell on anything she did and made a pice of good job of that.

Press finds & clippings of Marlene Dietrich cut-outs, Berichte , Artikel Zeitung

Who Marlene Dietrich loved ? Henny Porten was Marlene's idol.

Who heard of Henny Porten ? and it was not long time ago when reading Dietrich's Biography by Maria Riva, that I come across this name.
There are many names in books but this was special because Marlene seemed to have felt some unusual affinity with this woman; Marlene was
kind of fan of Henny or even more - one could call it "love" or "craze" . Marlene watched movies starring Henny and was deeply under her charm (or even madly in love or crazy about her ;), keeping
her photos just like I keep Marlene's today. I must be totally ignorant in the matters of silent movies because I had never heard this name untill
reading Dietrich's biography; or probably I could be, excused, could I ? To make up for my ignorance as well as out of curiosity, see what kind of
Idol my Idol had, I purchased these several postcards. Postcards were all (most probably all) published in Germany and show
this once famous art deco lady in typical theatrical poses. I do not suppose to ever become a fan of Henny; It is just another way to buy a piece of Marlene's world.
I like the postcards, nevertheless.

Marlene Dietrich faces and chic

A great, great woman, Just watch the wideo for samples of her movies.... . Must confess that these movies are never as much interesting as Marlene there. She was the only adornment of the scenes ..... . My heart is melting when I see this.

My impressions on Marlene Dietrich

Loving a perfect lady is never stimulating... but passion for danger gives a thrill; What is she now? What was she then? Perfect lady malgre-soi? None of her imperfections could ever erase the smashingly divine picture of her overwhelming beauty. Legs like a dream - face of an angel - smoothness in the move and husky tone of the voice. She was sweet libertine of her times, easy girl with noble look and easy manners whenever she belived it proper. Never got an Oscar! Surprised? I would myself right away got awarded her with three : 1. For her legs 2. For her charm 3. For she was Dietrich ... . Leaving all her talent and spells cast on the public aside, she must have had a capacious heart being able to store tons and tons of love and kisses for both women and men; never had enough - ever enchanted, ever in love - strikingly oversensitive and cold as ice at times.

.... There is Marlene no more - we can join her image and co-create her look, model the legend....; That will make her even more devine and if not, perfect - she will be there for us forever....
